Sandwich County Junior School was opened in 1967, originally as a primary school, but there never was enough room for the infants and in 1977 two separate schools were created.

The Junior School has eight classes for children in the seven to eleven age range. We aim to provide a broad, well balanced curriculum that enables every child to achieve their full potential.

Sport plays an important part in school life and opportunities exist for children to play team games such as football, netball and cricket. Music tuition is provided by visiting teachers.

The school has its own web page and information technology plays an important part in the curriculum. The children were asked what they thought about our school.
