Sandwich Technology School is an 11‚18 school for boys and girls, with about 800 students on roll. Since April 1995 we have become one of an elite group of Technology Colleges. Such schools are designed to be innovative, to offer enhanced learning opportunities beyond the National Curriculum in Maths, Science, Technology and Information Technology. This is made possible through commercial sponsorship and additional funding from the Department for Education and Employment.

In the past eighteen months we have developed a new library and flexible learning centre, have become fully networked with access to over 100 computers around the school, developed new science and technology facilities, connected to the internet and improved our technological capability in administration.

These enhanced facilities mean that we can progressively raise academic standards achieved throughout Sandwich Technology School. Our ultimate aim is to develop a modern educational culture that reflects the technological age in which we live.
